First SANY in Scotland still going strong
In 2015, Mark Shaw decided to visit the Black Isle Show, a regional agricultural and machinery show which takes place every year in a village north of Inverness. It was at this show where Mark struck a deal for the very first SANY excavator to be sold in Scotland. Five years later, the machine is still going strong, working on many tasks across the Scottish Highlands.
Mark is the owner of Ardgay based Shaw Plant Hire; a small plant hire and heavy haulage firm which specialises in contracting and hire jobs. The SANY SY75C was originally purchased to work on infrastructure projects which were required for the many hydro-schemes being built at the time. Since then the 7.5t digger has been used on many projects ranging from civils works, estate maintenance and general hire.
“We originally bought the machine to work on some very demanding jobs, working around the clock, and the SANY SY75C did not let us down. “I have now been operating it for almost five years and cannot fault it for power and performance”commented Mark.
